BothHands

Brand Identity, 2023
Mentored by Patrice Liem

At CHEP Network, the design team have a Mentorship Program where senior designers are paired up with junior and mid-weight designers to help grow skills and develop goals in 6 month periods. In this mentorship, BothHands was the byproduct of settling into the agency full-time, polishing more on the design eye, and refining branding skills. Both Hands was inspired by holding a mug of coffee to keep both hands warm and comforting.
The brand employs a different approach in its distribution. As warm and comforting coffee on the go are the main core values of BothHands, the brand distributes their coffee through a vending machine. All customers need to do is select which drink they would like on the touch screen and the machine makes it to order. After they have paid and have waited around 30 seconds, their drink will be waiting for them in the dispenser ready to drink!
Being playful and comforting, the brand has multiple characters, where each animal represents a different coffee drink.
